The unique D-TEX alarm connects to the IEC sockets of ICT and AV equipment to deter thieves from moving the protected device and to signal any unauthorised transportation. The alarm is fitted with a motion sensor that detects when equipment is disconnected and moved from its position. If the equipment is moved, or if the D-TEX is removed from its IEC socket, the 120-decibel alarm activates to signal improper use or attempted theft. The alarm can be de-activated by inserting a unique key, which enables the connected device to be transported or serviced hassle-free. With its innovative design patented by us at TOP-TEC, the D-TEX is the ideal security device for projectors, plasma screens, PCs and any other valuable equipment that has an IEC socket.
