Tech Specs
MultiChannel Audio Digital Interface, or MADI, defines a digital data multiplexing technology conforming to standards defined by AES10 1991 and AES10 2003. PESA’s Multi-Channel Audio Digital Interface (MADI) Adapter for DRS allows MADI compliant audio data streams to interface with a DRS router. Available as an input or output device for DRS, MADI technology allows routing of up to 64 AES compliant audio channels over a single coaxial cable or fiber optic cable. Each MADI adapter is a stand-alone module that can support up to 2 separate 64-channel input MADI data streams. For installations requiring multiple modules a rack-mount frame is available. Each frame is one rack-unit (RU) in height and houses up to four individual MADI modules.
