The FIRNET linear phase FIR Controller is a specially developed for HK AUDIO systems, system controller with two inputs and four outputs. It is the result of more than ten years of experience with FIR filter technology, high quality AD / DA converters and modern DSP processors. The FIR filter technology (Finite Impulse Response) allows absolute linearity components (speakers, controllers, amplifiers) in the frequency and phase response. Thus, the different frequency components of a sound image are time coherent, and thus faithfully reproduced. Listening fatigue caused by differences in the phase transition no longer occurs - transparency and perceived to be dramatically increased. The FIRNET controller adopts the basic equalization of all components such as speaker chassis, housing, crossovers and amplifiers. With a dynamic range of more than 128 dB on the A / D converter and the internal sampling frequency of 96 kHz, an extremely high signal resolution and thus a higher transparency of the audio signal is achieved. The combination of RMS limiters with Overshoot function and predictive Peaklimitern ensures optimal speaker protection.
