TEFnet is a complete TEF25 analyzer with 5 MUX inputs plus an additional input for special applications. The system is utilized in conjunction with a dedicated house computer. The consultant installs microphones in selected locations and sets the parameters for Pass/Fail evaluation. The software will prevent any unauthorized change made to the consultant's specifications. The Pass Fail evaluation is based on a TDS test sweep and automatic sequential activation of MUX microphones. The Pass Fail evaluation Test utilizes modified Sound Lab speaker test software. The accuracy and usefulness of the Pass/Fail evaluation is based on the parameters selected by the Consultant and his ability to specify the acceptable tolerances for measurements at each of the microphone locations. Only the Consultant will specify the Pass/Fail parameters. The Resident Soundmen will not be authorized to change the Consultants Pass/Fail parameters. However, the TEFnet system will also include Sound Lab Modules to measure RTA and NLA. For special applications other modules can be added. Resident Soundmen will be able to take advantage of the multiple microphones installed in many locations.
