The FBT JOLLY series speaker features lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction and available in black or white finish. The JOLLY 5B series speakers modern cabinet appearance provides fixed installations with an elegant design that blends into any decor. With the use of optional accessories FBT JOLLY 5B speakers can be mounted on mic stands for many near field monitor applications, live sound and as a studio monitor. The FBTJOLLY5B is of two-way design incorporating an 5-inch low frequency woofer and a 1-inch Mylar diaphragm dome tweeter. Cabinet dispersion is (H) 90 x (V) 90° allowing for wide pattern coverage. The internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 3.5k. With a frequency range of 80Hz to 20kHz JOLLY 5B speakers provide hi fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 117dB. Front face steel grille protects speaker from external damage. FBT JOLLY 5B are magnetically shielded for use alongside video monitors. Ideal for small fixed installations FBT JOLLY 5B speaker systems have an impedance of 16 ohm allowing four JOLLY 5 speakers to be utilized per channel, for a total of eight JOLLY 5B speakers when used with a stereo power amplifier capable of operating at 2 ohm, thus eliminating need in many cases for utilizing constant voltage 70V power amplifiers and constant voltage 70V speaker systems with line transformers that can degrade sound reproduction quality and also add additional cost to an installation. The two M6 fly points built into cabinets along with optional mounting brackets allow FBT JOLLY 5B speakers to be surface mounted on walls or ceiling. For portable or fixed use FBT JOLLY 5B speakers can be mounted on mic stands by using optional adapters for vertical mounting. Rear panel connections feature both a female 1/4-inch input jack and pushpin terminal connector which are internally connected parallel providing various wiring options for installer.
