The CAS-16 is a Sub Station for the CAM-16 distribution system. The CAS-16 increases the capacity of the CAM-16 by up to sixteen RH-8 or WP-8 remote control units or independent active speakers.

Each CAM-16’s can accommodate up to 15 CAS-16 Sub Stations allowing a maximum system capacity of 256 remote control units. The system is wired in a ‘daisy chain’ format; the cable for this comes supplied with each CAS-16. Offering 8 stereo sound sources, any of which can be selcted to operate through a pair of stereo headphones via the RH-8 or WP-8(A) control panel with a total capacity of 256 control panels on one system.
