Graphical User Interface Tool

Series: ControlSpace

Model: ControlSpace Designer Software

  • Set-up, configure and control PowerMatch amplifiers from within ControlSpace Designer software
  • Each PowerMatch amplifier includes all the necessary signal processing support for a RoomMatch® array, including RoomMatch Array EQ, Loudspeaker EQ and loudspeaker specific limiting
  • If a system includes RoomMatch speakers but the signal processing occurs outside the amplifier, the RoomMatch Array EQ and loudspeaker EQ can be used as standalone signal processing blocks for the Bose engineered sound processors
  • ControlSpace Designer software supports a stand-alone monitor mode of operation
  • When configured for monitor mode, system settings are protected and the system operator only has access to amplifier monitor functions and virtual control interfaces

Tech Specs
ControlSpace Designer software makes it easy to design, configure and operate systems which include Bose Engineered Sound Processors, PowerMatch configurable professional amplifiers, and Bose control center user interfaces. Using industry standard drag-and-drop programming methods familiar to most system designers audio signal processing designs are constructed using a library of signal processing algorithms. A system may contain a single or multiple devices, each with a unique signal processing implementation. Once the system design is complete it may be immediately transferred to system devices, with no compile time. System control programming is also accomplished using drag and drop methods. Parameter sets provide the ability to program and recall system settings ranging from an individual signal processing parameter to a complete system setup; while Group controls provide master volume control of multiple gains, or control of multiple instances of the same signal processing function type. Both Parameter set and Group programming functions are easily mapped to the physical controls of a Bose control center, or may be invoked remotely using a standard serial protocol or general purpose inputs. Smart Simulation allows control programming to be tested without requiring a connection to system hardware. Once control programming is completed, and assigned to user interfaces system operation can be validated while off-line. On-line operation provides visual cues to indicate device status, hardware configurations, fault conditions, and audio muting to assist with set up and troubleshooting. When configured for monitor mode operation system processing settings are visible, but may not be edited. The system operator only has access to PowerMatch amplifier signal and fault monitoring and virtual system controls which mimic hardware control operation.

  • A complete library of signal processing functions to create the audio configuration of your choice
  • Once control programming is complete, test, verify and document the programming of the system even when you are not connected to the system hardware
