The IP Former converts existing passive loudspeakers into network loudspeakers. It handles a variety of prioritized IP audio inputs such as unicast and multicast RTP and HTTP supporting many audio formats including AACplus, MP3, G.711, G.722 and more. IP-Former registers as SIP/VoIP endpoint to accept calls. The solid metal case can be mounted directly to a speaker using the transformer mounts. The built in 8W full digital class-D audio amplifier provides high quality audio Signals to 2 – 8 Ohm in-wall, in-ceiling or tabletop Speakers. The device is powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE). Configuration of the device is done using the integrated priority handler on the device interface.
